Get a personal AI assistant running in about five minutes. Your assistant will help you set itself up—just ask.

Prerequisites: A Scout account (free plan available)

Step 1: Get Started with a Template

The fastest way to create your agent is with a pre-built template.

1. Open Marketplace in Scout Studio
2. Find the Personal Agent template
3. Click Use Template
4. Complete the 12-question interview

This interview defines your agent’s personality, capabilities, and preferences. It helps your assistant understand how it can be most productive for you.

Step 2: Connect Your Calendar

Your assistant can connect tools for you—no need to navigate settings menus.

Ask your assistant: “Help me connect my calendar”

The assistant walks you through the integration. Once connected, it can check your schedule, find meeting times, and remind you of upcoming events.

Step 3: Connect Your Email

Let your agent read, summarize, and draft emails.

Ask your assistant: “Help me connect my email”

The assistant guides you through connecting Gmail, Outlook, or another provider.

Step 4: Connect Your Chat Platform

Talk to your agent where you already work—Slack or Telegram.

Ask your assistant: “Help me connect Slack” or “Help me connect Telegram”

Your assistant will help set up the chat platform integration. This is where your agent will communicate with you day-to-day.

Step 5: Schedule Your Daily Brief

Set up a routine that keeps you informed every morning. Copy and paste this prompt:

Set up a daily brief that runs every morning at 8:00 AM.
It should check my email for important messages, review my
calendar for the day's events, search for news on topics I
care about, and post a summary to my Slack or Telegram channel.

Your assistant creates the schedule for you—no need to configure it manually.
